ABOUT ATTORNEY BYERS
Ms. Byers is a former federal prosecutor who now brings her experience to the
private sector as a courtroom litigator serving the citizens of West Virginia. Ms. Byers has over ten years of
experience representing private and commercial clients in both federal and state court including West Virginia's Circuit,
Family and Magistrate Court.
She works closely with her
clients to understand their needs and to develop a legal strategy that is targeted and cost-effective. From initial consultation
to verdict, Ms. Byers provides aggressive representation protecting the interests of her clients.
CREDENTIALS
Ms. Byers is admitted to the state bars of West Virginia and
New Jersey, the Third and Fourth Circuits of the U.S. Court of Appeals, the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia
and the District of New Jersey.
Attorney Byers graduated
from New York Law School (J.D. with honors, Law Review) and also holds an advanced law degree from the George Washington University
National Law Center (LL.M. with highest honors in Litigation and Dispute Resolution). Ms. Byers' undergraduate degree was
granted by New York University (B.A. - magna cum laude) where she was named to the Dean's List all semesters and was designated
a University Honors Scholar upon graduation.
